Norbert’s deep, warm, resonant sound quality and consistent stability in all registers makes his sound unique and powerful, and that’s exactly what these reeds offer — in his measurements, with his initial testing and approval.

Please note: These reeds have been tested on the following makes of Contras: Moosmann. Every contrabassoon is slightly different, so while one cannot guarantee any contra reed to work perfectly on every contrabassoon, I have made sure these play with a stable pitch and sound quality on the instrument that is available to me.
