This gouged contrabassoon cane is processed from tube cane entirely by Ariel to her exact specifications. This cane is used for all ACDC Contra blanks and finished reeds. Ariel’s cane goes through a rigorous quality control process in each step of processing to ensure the best possible consistency. Every piece is measured for consistency in thickness with a dial indicator and hardness tested.
