ACDC Reeds are hand crafted, high-quality reeds processed, formed, and finished by master reed maker Ariel Detwiler. These reeds are designed to use more air support than pressure, optimizing the vibration of the reed for a warm, sonorous tone and ultimate resonance and response in all registers. All reeds and blanks are made with Rigotti cane and a Rieger 1A shape, and are rigorously play tested and sanitized thoroughly before they are sent to customers.
